Hampton Inn Carlstadt At The Meadowlands

I loved everything about this hotel from the location to the receptionist area/lobby,to the breakfast and not to mention the free shuttle bus. The staff was very friendly and warm . I was able to check in early (bonus) the room was cleaned very well everything was just lovely . The shuttle service was very convenient to take us to the american dream mall and pick us up as well when we were finished. The breakfast in the morning was so good ,there were so many different choices to eat from. We only stayed for a night because we were in town for the meadowlands state fair ,but we absolutely loved the stay .

Everything went well! Closest location to American Dream Mall, the purpose of our travel. Rooms were clean, location was great, staff was awesome and breakfast was delightful! I will always stay at the Hampton Inn when I travel. There was a small snafu when checking it, but it was handled very well and the rate I paid thru Booking.com was met. Customer service was very accommodating in keeping our rooms right next door to each other as I requested. Fantastic hotel and service!

Evening manager Frank really made my day when we booked the wrong date by not charging for the first date.. staying the night of a big concert we were lucky to get last room earlier from receptionist who honestly could care less but in any matter found a room… later on I spoke with night time manager Frank who honestly made me feel much better about the stay the concert my kids waiting to go.. thank god to guys like this!! Room and lobby was excellent, they even had decorated with Metallica posters and music for show.

Great location, close to NY city , public transport right in front of the Hotel across the road. Hotel staff is friendly and provided printed instructions to and from the city. Awesome breakfast with multiple selections.

Standard Hampton Inn decor, cleanliness, layout, etc. We specifically chose Hampton Inn because it's a chain we know and trust - and we expect the same thing from all of them in terms of cleanliness. We chose this location because we were only there for one night prior to going on our cruise out of Manhattan cruise terminal. It was an easy-ish location to get to (even though we took the wrong turnoff the first time because of all of the construction on the freeway nearby), it's not in the craziness of Manhattan (which is what we were trying to avoid) and they let us park our car there for free while we were on our cruise - which is a huge bonus! Breakfast was your standard Hampton Inn style. Hot & cold buffet, with the standard waffle maker - which is always a fan favourite. If I'm ever up that way again, I'd stay there for sure. Although I think we'd ask for a room not over the main entrance as that can be pretty loud. All in all - it was a good stay.
